The vibrant port city of Plymouth is 12 miles away, with fantastic attractions such as the National Marine Aquarium, historic Barbican and Plymouth Hoe waterfront. Take a day trip to the seaside and visit one of the many quaint towns and villages that line the shore. Ever-popular Looe is 15.5 miles away, where summer months see beach-goers descend onto its sandy beach, and winter brings those looking for cosy cafes and pubs serving fresh local produce. The town is also famed for its fancy dress New Year celebration, attracting revellers from far and wide.
