There’s plenty to do on the complex with entertainment suited to any age and group. But, Polperro and Polruan are within 4 miles along the rugged coastline. Both offer ample opportunity for eating out if you fancy a day off self-catering. Why not take the dogs and join the South West Coast Path to visit each in turn? Don’t miss the National Trust’s Lantic Bay, but be aware that the walk down (and back up!) isn’t for the faint-hearted. If you’re on foot, hop on the passenger ferry from Polruan to Fowey for a picture-postcard Cornish town, now housing independent shops and cafes along its quaint streets, steeped in history.
