Located just a five minute walk to the coastal path, Will’s Cottage is situated in the peaceful village of Trewellard and provides the perfect Cornish retreat. Well known for its filming locations in the TV series Poldark, this area of West Cornwall is known by the locals as ‘Poldark country’. Tin mines and old engine houses dot the landscape, including the famous Botallack mine less than a mile away, along with the rugged coastline bearing hidden coves that are just waiting to be explored. Will’s Cottage is a traditional granite stone cottage and provides cosy accommodation for up to four people. The property will captivate art and photography lovers, with the owner’s fantastic photography displayed throughout the cottage. The property is also popular with ramblers and dog walkers, with plenty of picturesque footpaths nearby.
Trewellard is a small village with a local pub located near St Just in West Cornwall. The area is steeped in mining history and provides plenty of scenic coastal and country walks. St Ives, Sennen Cove and Land’s End are all within a 15 minute drive, with the popular open air Minack Theatre in the tropical bay of Porthcurno less than 30 minutes away.

Sweet little cottage with everything you need with at Private weeny yard behind a big wall that blocks the view of the sea but is a suntrap at mid day. Great base to travel the county and has the wonderful heritage of the two tin mines close by. Loved the wildness of this part of the coast with amazing views and gorgeous coastal paths and coves. Will be back later this year

A well equipped cottage in a beautiful area with plenty of walks and history. Trewellard is an ideal location for getting about and the village has a good selection of pubs to eat in and an excellent restaurant, Field House Cafe, which only opens on Thursday and Friday evenings until the beginning of October.
Nice layout and superb view from the back bedroom. Cottage was ideally situated for access to the coast path. Bus service good to St Just and Penzance and for going to local pubs in the evening particularly the Queens at Botallack.
