Take the gang on a getaway to the beautiful town of St Ives. This cottage has room for two families or a whole lot of friends, and is the perfect place to relax, explore and enjoy some of the best spots in Cornwall.

As you enter the cottage, you’ll find a lounge with an incredible sea view. It’s a peaceful place to relax and watch the or gather everyone together in front of the crackling open fire. Through the glass doors you’ll find a dining room with lots of space, and close by is the well-equipped kitchen with a smaller table for snacks. Continue to the first floor where you’ll find three bedrooms, two doubles and a single, plus a bathroom. All are wonderfully comfortable and some look over the nearby bay. On the second floor you’ll see two more bedrooms, a double and a twin room with bunk beds. They’re simply decorated with wooden finishes for an unfussy, cosy feel. Finish your tour by visiting the basement, where you’ll see a games room with a ping pong table and a small patio.

This property is situated in the heart of St Ives, a bustling seaside town with plenty to enjoy. You’ll be 0.5 miles from the station, 0.5 miles from the famous Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden and just under a mile from Tate St Ives, a charming little art gallery. Splash around the beautiful Carbis Bay Beach (1 mile) and build sandcastles, or try Porthminster Beach, just over 100 metres away. You’ll find plenty of local restaurants and boutique stores for souvenir shopping. There’s lots to explore further out, including the iconic Land’s End, 19 miles from the cottage, the very tip of Cornwall.

Spacious comfortable property easily accommodating our party of 9. Table tennis in the basement was a big hit with our teens. Beautiful views. Would recommend if you dont mind a steepish walk back up from Porthminster beach.

The house situated in a beautiful location, a 5 minute walk to the beach, and a 10 minute walk to town. The equipment in kitchen is amazing and very good quality, generously sized rooms. Washing machine and tumble dry are a blessing. I would book this property every day of the week, and will recommend to friends and family.
