Perfect for an away from it all holiday. Beautifully appointed. Everything one could need was provided.
Everything was very good, in fact we are planning another visit next year!
We have had a lovely relaxing holiday with good walks around the area. Lovely location and comfortable cottage. We hope to visit again. Thank you for flowers, milk etc., very welcome after a long journey.
1 The Chapel is light, spacious and comfortable. It is quiet and peaceful. The heating is good, the furnishings comfortable and is quite simply the best holiday accommodation in Cornwall.
A lovely, secluded cottage, with a chapel window to see the views, in a hamlet on top of cliffs in a wild part of beautiful coastline.
What a marvellous cottage with everything we could possibly want or need! We love the king-sized bed, it has been a wonderful week. Thanks for taking such good care of this special place. x
Fabulous place to stay. Jan and David have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. The house is in a great location, with a little stroll down to the beach. We've made the most of the lovely garden to sit out and eat (luckily picked the hottest week to come) and enjoyed some fantastic sunsets. Thank you for the lovely Cornish tea, fairings and clotted cream, what a wonderful treat. We will definitely be back, probably bringing the family with us and rent out next door too. Thank you.
Amazing location in a lovely hamlet so near the sea
1 The Chapel at Rinsey suited us perfectly. The hamlet of Rinsey was so quiet and peaceful. It was an excellent place to go and discover areas in West Cornwall. The circular walk starting from the chapel past Wheal Prosper along the coast was spectacular. We had fantastic weather but had it rained there were many books, DVDs, CD player in the property so we could have just "chilled out" there too!
Thank you so much for the lovely welcome to 1 The Chapel - Cornish tea, biscuits, flowers, milk and Rhoddas in fridge, so kind. We have had a wonderful stay here and really appreciated all the though that has gone into equipping The Chapel even down to the charming pictures. Many thanks.
We stayed at 1 The Chapel, for a week in September 2017. It was great value for money, being much cheaper than a lot of other options that we examined and yet lacking nothing that you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen (ground floor) had all we needed for cooking our own meals and the sitting room (upstairs) was bright, clean and well furnished. The one double bedroom and bathroom were all we needed. The location is 10 minutes drive from Porthleven, which is gorgeous, or a leisurely 2 hour walk east along the coastal path. It is also a short (10 minute) walk from The Chapel down onto the secluded beach at Rinsey Cove or an hour's walk west to Praa Sands Beach. All in all, The Chapel is perfect, and affordable for the couple who want a base from which to explore west Cornwall.
Thank you, we have had a lovely stay in The Chapel. It was great, all we needed! May see you again, will recommend to all.
Thank you so much - we had the most lovely, quiet holiday. We personally really enjoyed the tide book - lovely touch. Beautiful and clean and overall awesome holiday. Thanks a bunch!
We have had a fantastic stay at this beautiful cottage. The cottage is well equipped and has everything we could possibly need. Thank you for the refreshments. We have had a great holiday and hope to be back soon.
Praa Sands (pronounced Pray or Prah) is a village and beach located a few miles north of Porthleven and a few miles south of Marazion (home of St Michaels Mount). Famed for its fantastic waves and glorious mile-long sandy beach, it is a popular destination for visitors. With a beach café, golf club, village shop and pub, Praa Sands is the perfect place for a relaxing beach holiday. As well as its own brilliant white sands, there are also two neighbouring beaches; Rinsey Cove and Kenneggy Cove.
Praa Sands is situated between the Lizard Peninsula (the most southerly point in the UK) and the far west of Cornwall, making it easy to explore both of these stunning areas. Head west and explore St Michael’s Mount and Land’s End and experience the amazing art scene and fabulous food of St Ives. Or head south to the rugged Lizard Peninsula and walk the spectacular South West Coast Path. There are many idyllic little villages to explore in this beautiful part of Cornwall.
