Enjoying an elevated position on the cliffs of Portwrinkle, this cottage is the perfect place for bringing together six friends or family to explore the best of Cornwall, whatever the season. With views out to sea, and a garden accessing the seafront, this is an ideal space for a holiday with your nearest and dearest.

Enter the cottage and wander on through to the well-equipped kitchen and cloakroom. Pour yourselves a glass of wine or make yourselves a cup of tea before heading down the steps and into the spacious lounge/diner. Settle here on the comfy seating and chat together about your plans for the next day. Admire the sea views from one of two chairs near the picture window and instantly feel a sense of calm wash over you. Take your time cooking dinner before clinking glasses to your holiday at the nearby dining table. Finish the day with evenings spent watching twinkling lights from the comfort of your own private garden, boasting glorious views. Lay your head in one of three bedrooms: one king-size with sea views, and two twin rooms. Awake feeling energised and ready to take on scenic walking trails and sandy beach days.

Alternatively, Tregantle Beach (3 miles) and Tregantle Fort (3 miles) also provide beautiful scenery with a rich history.

High tides is a very well maintained house, with thorough information and it is very easy to feel at home there. The view from the living/dining room is breathtaking and for a Christmas break it was wonderful. Local amenities are accessible too. We were greeted by wine and chocolates and other practical supplies. Next year, only the addition of a CRead morehristmas tree could make it better! Hide
