If you enjoy outdoor living then Meadowside is ideal for you. With a choice of relaxing spaces to enjoy the splendid garden with its abundant planting and a fabulous barbecue and entertaining hut, Meadowside will suit a family or friends sharing. Socialising is made easy in the kitchen with its breakfast bar and comfy seating area, bi-folding doors leading through to the living room and a bright, spacious conservatory making up the dining room with views to the garden.
The village of Sticker, which has its own traditional pub and post office stores, is situated 3 miles from St Austell and less than a 15 minute drive to the coast and beaches of the Cornish Riviera. A short drive will take you to the quaint fishing port of Mevagissey with its range of gift shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants. You can also catch a ferry to Fowey or take a fishing trip from the harbour. Be sure to pay a visit to the famous Eden Project and Charlestown - featured in the Poldark series - whilst you are here.

GARDEN & PARKING: Private parking for 4 cars in front of house. Private, enclosed, raised garden accessible by 9 steps. Decking area with dining for 6, large lawn and impressive barbecue hut on further raised platform. Additional outdoor seating provided at ground level.
Changeover day: Saturday - arrival 3:00pm - departure 10:00am
Pets Welcome: Maximum 1 dog; £35 per week.
Power and Heat: Gas and electricity included in rent; gas central heating.
Bedding and Linen: Pillows & duvets included; bed linen and towels provided. Please bring your own beach towels

We really enjoyed our stay at Meadowside. We chose the property because it had outside space for our boys to run around in, and it didn't disappoint. We have had a fantastic week exploring Cornwall. The house is lovely and spotless! Thank you for letting us stay in such a lovely house.
St Austell is located near a stretch of coastline that is often referred to as the Cornish Riviera. The South coast of Cornwall is generally more sheltered than the wild and windswept North, and there are some excellent beaches in this area. As well as Carlyon Bay, there is also Pentewan Sands, further south, and Par beach (which is dog-friendly all year round) to the north-west. The area is very handy for both the Eden Project (excellent for families with its interactive and educational displays) and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, rediscovered some 25 years ago and now restored to their former glory. The Lost Gardens are another family-friendly attraction, with a cafe, picnic area and lots of animals to see, and they also welcome dogs on leads. Carlyon Bay nestles in between two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and is also close to Charlestown, a historic port which has often been used as a location for filming several TV dramas including the recent adaptation of Poldark. Venture East along the coast and you will find the towns of Looe, Polperro and Fowey, and if you head West you can visit Mevagissey. A little way inland, St Austell has plenty of shops, pubs and a cinema complex.
