Beautiful house. It felt like we had taken our home on holiday. Would definitely consider re-booking for next year.

Mr Paul Grimshaw,

An amazing farmhouse. Loads of space for us all and the dogs. Lovely and clean and tastefully decorated. A wonderful place to stay for anyone with four-legged friends. Would recommend to anyone.

Mrs S James,

What an amazing Easter weekend. Roasts, walks, swims, fires, baths, movies, music and laughter. We'll miss this place.

Miss A Gregg,

Map

The ancient village of Pelynt is home to two well-stocked village stores, a characterful, traditional village pub and a 14th century church. There are many places to visit close by and the South West Coast Path can be joined at Talland Bay from where you can head east to Looe or west to Polperro and explore these quaint towns with their picturesque streets and pretty harbours.

The town of Looe has charming narrow streets leading down to a picturesque harbour, and is split into East and West Looe by the river that runs through it, and on down to the beach.  Looe's sandy beach has a little cafe where you can linger over a cup of coffee while people-watching or admiring the view. There are a number of lovely cafes, as well as restaurants and pubs to choose from, making this a great destination for the foodies among you. You will have the opportunity to buy freshly-caught fish from the market on the quay, or if you fancy it, go out on a fishing trip to have a go at catching your own! If you don't fancy fishing, a good alternative boat trip is to Looe Island, where you can find some lovely examples of rare plants, and spot plenty of wildlife, including grey seals and seabirds.  Looe Marine Conservation Group can give you more information about the island and its wildlife. Looe is said to be a wonderful place to enjoy the New Year festivities, a time when many happy party-goers in fancy dress descend upon the town to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a magnificent display of fireworks.
