Our first time in Looe! We've had a fabulous holiday here. We are going to miss the amazing views from this house, we hope to come back one day!
We have had a lovely family holiday our first time in Looe! Great house! Great views! We are all a lot fitter. Thank you.
This is not our first time in Looe, but is our first time staying here and we have all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Sinilah. This lovely house has been perfect for our stay, well equipped with the most beautiful views, especially from the top floor. Would love to stay here again!
The town of Looe has charming narrow streets leading down to a picturesque harbour, and is split into East and West Looe by the river that runs through it, and on down to the beach. Looe's sandy beach has a little cafe where you can linger over a cup of coffee while people-watching or admiring the view.
There are a number of lovely cafes, as well as restaurants and pubs to choose from, making this a great destination for the foodies among you. You will have the opportunity to buy freshly-caught fish from the market on the quay, or if you fancy it, go out on a fishing trip to have a go at catching your own!
If you don't fancy fishing, a good alternative boat trip is to Looe Island, where you can find some lovely examples of rare plants, and spot plenty of wildlife, including grey seals and seabirds. Looe Marine Conservation Group can give you more information about the island and its wildlife.
Looe is said to be a wonderful place to enjoy the New Year festivities, a time when many happy party-goers in fancy dress descend upon the town to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a magnificent display of fireworks.
