Newly renovated and upgraded in 2018 to include a refitted shower-room and kitchen, exposed floorboards in the living room, the addition of a TV in the main bedroom and cosy wooden shutters, Quay Cottage is a lovely Cornish cottage set in West Looe, only a 50-yard level walk from the bustling fishing harbour. A further walk will take you to the beach at East Looe, however if you are feeling more energetic why not take the coastal footpath around Hannafore, along the way you will be spoilt with the fantastic views out to St George's Island and beyond. Overall we received great service, stayed in a really clean and well presented property, in a great location and all at a reasonable cost. We will be back next year.

Mr Edward G,

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and highly recommend it. Car parking is in short supply in Looe but the Council's Millpool car park is a pleasant quayside walk away.

Mr Llewellyn P,

A beautiful cottage - very near to all attractions in Looe. Perfect place to stay with all home comforts.

Mrs Rachel S,

Excellently refurbished property in an ideal location.

Mr Trevor A,

Have been coming to Looe for past 30 years. Never fails to impress.

Mrs Lynn H,

The town of Looe has charming narrow streets leading down to a picturesque harbour, and is split into East and West Looe by the river that runs through it, and on down to the beach.  Looe's sandy beach has a little cafe where you can linger over a cup of coffee while people-watching or admiring the view.

There are a number of lovely cafes, as well as restaurants and pubs to choose from, making this a great destination for the foodies among you.  You will have the opportunity to buy freshly-caught fish from the market on the quay, or if you fancy it, go out on a fishing trip to have a go at catching your own!

If you don't fancy fishing, a good alternative boat trip is to Looe Island, where you can find some lovely examples of rare plants, and spot plenty of wildlife, including grey seals and seabirds.  Looe Marine Conservation Group can give you more information about the island and its wildlife.

Looe is said to be a wonderful place to enjoy the New Year festivities, a time when many happy party-goers in fancy dress descend upon the town to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a magnificent display of fireworks.
