Sea Merchants View is a wonderful 4 Star rated 1st floor apartment (laid out on one level) set in a characterful building in the historic conservation area of West Looe on the harbour front with uninterrupted spectacular views of the harbour stretching out towards the sea. It lies close to the oldest pub in Looe - The Jolly Sailor and a couple of useful convenience stores, and deli selling fresh local produce and everyday convenience items. The property is a 1-minute boat taxi trip (tide permitting) or 5 mins' stroll to the east side of Looe, where there are lots of pubs and many fine restaurants, cafes and bistros to choose from. You will also find a beautiful sheltered sandy beach, ideal for swimming and sunbathing. The apartment has had much thought and careful consideration by the owners who have decorated it to provide a contemporary and modern environment, yet still capturing and enhancing the charm of a truly harbourside property, including thick white washed walls, sash windows and real wood floors. The overall true historical beauty of this accommodation is not lost with the modern day trends and remains charming.

All contacts were very helpful and efficient, always reminders of when you needed to do anything regarding your travel and stay etc. Very happy with all aspects of Cornish Horizons and that's pretty good coming from a fussy pair of young at heart pensioners. In addition very pleasant, friendly, and helpful owners.
Would definately recommend Cornish Horizon for their range of properties and their help in finding you the perfect place. Sea Merchants in Looe is one such perfect place. Everything you could possibley want for a cosy or romantic self catering holiday with such an amazing view.
Lovely property, great location.
Delighted with this accommodation. Nicely decorated, immaculately clean and stunning views over the harbour. The accommodation met all our needs and when the microwave broke down the owner replaced it with a brand new one the very same day. Would definitely recommend.
Very enjoyable week - all equipment in cottage - great location - great weather too!
The town of Looe has charming narrow streets leading down to a picturesque harbour, and is split into East and West Looe by the river that runs through it, and on down to the beach. Looe's sandy beach has a little cafe where you can linger over a cup of coffee while people-watching or admiring the view.
There are a number of lovely cafes, as well as restaurants and pubs to choose from, making this a great destination for the foodies among you. You will have the opportunity to buy freshly-caught fish from the market on the quay, or if you fancy it, go out on a fishing trip to have a go at catching your own!
If you don't fancy fishing, a good alternative boat trip is to Looe Island, where you can find some lovely examples of rare plants, and spot plenty of wildlife, including grey seals and seabirds. Looe Marine Conservation Group can give you more information about the island and its wildlife.
Looe is said to be a wonderful place to enjoy the New Year festivities, a time when many happy party-goers in fancy dress descend upon the town to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a magnificent display of fireworks.
