Relish family time together at this contemporary home-from-home in the popular seaside town of St Merryn, North Cornwall. Perfectly placed within the Seven Bays region, from here you can explore and enjoy some of the region’s most stunning beaches, dramatic cliff tops and picturesque villages. The property itself offers a beautiful base for up to six guests and two dogs, great for a multi-generational stay. Enjoy family games night, table tennis or a tinkle on the ivories, before settling down to a cosy evening in front of the wood burner.

Beautifully styled in a restful, coastal scheme with pops of colour, the lounge is a wonderful space for gathering after a day of adventures. Cosy up on one of the sumptuous sofas, pop on the Smart TV and light the wood burner. For social mealtimes, you’ll find a modern farmhouse table in the spacious kitchen and all the mod-cons required to comfortably cater for your stay. On the ground floor, there is also a handy utility room and WC. Upstairs, you’ll find three well-appointed bedrooms: a super-king size bedroom and shower room, a king-size bedroom and finally, a twin room that can also be arranged as a super-king upon request. On the first floor, you’ll also find the family bathroom. Outside, the garage has been converted into a games room; a fantastic space for the entire family to enjoy with table tennis, a dart board and a keyboard. The enclosed wraparound garden with its flat lawn is a great place for children to enjoy and there’s plenty of garden furniture for dining al fresco.

St Merryn is an idyllic location for a holiday in Cornwall with the village offering plenty of welcoming pubs and restaurants. Just 3 miles away lies the charming fishing village of Padstow, known for its bustling harbour and excellent seafood. Take a stroll along the waterfront, visit the local shops, and perhaps indulge in a delicious meal at one of the renowned restaurants. At nearby Harlyn Bay (1.6 miles), you’ll find a sheltered sandy beach that is great for families and water sports enthusiasts alike. You can enjoy swimming, surfing, or simply relaxing on the beach and soaking up the sun.

Bodlowen is ideal for us, its spacious, clean and comfortable and very well equipped. This is our second stay in Bodlowen and well probably return again next year. Our grandsons aged 5 and a half years and 3 and a half years both enjoyed playing on the PlayStation and our 11 month old grandson mastered climbing the stairs for the first time whileRead more we were there. Bodlowen is ideally situated for some lovely beaches Treyarnon being our favourite and is close enough for an evening out at The Fish House on Fistral Beach and Barnabys at Trevibban Mill vineyard and orchards both of which we thoroughly recommend. What an amazing home Bodlowen is. It has everything for a keen cook! Bedrooms are divine. The area is beautiful we have loved exploring the beaches with our dog. We shall be back!

We were extremely pleased with Bodlowen, its very spacious and well equipped and beach towels were included which is unusual. It felt like home from from home not a holiday rental property.
