The Hideaway is a lovely light and airy property. It's a well-equipped, self-contained wing of the owner's house that is tucked away in a peaceful location in St Merryn. The village offers a wide range of restaurants, pubs and shops and the bakery is a must for a traditional Cornish pasty! - And all within a few minutes walking distance from the property. The Hideaway lies only a stones throw away from many North coast beaches too so you can fill your days with surfing, rock pooling and exploring coastal paths. A short drive away is Padstow’s fishing village where you can enjoy an evening meal in the well-known Rick Stein's Seafood restaurant or perhaps take a bike ride along the Camel Trail. End your day in the suntrap of your own enclosed garden, with the barbeque and a well-deserved glass of wine. An unspoilt area of Cornwall. This property has plenty to offer for everyone - and your furry friend!
This property offers a small group discount of 15% for parties of two or less throughout the year. Low occupancy for two means you’re restricted to the use of 1 bedroom. This discount is automatically applied and the holiday price you are quoted reflects this. If you have any questions or require full use of the property, and don't want bedrooms to be locked off, please call our friendly team on 01841 533331 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.

An excellent property in every way: spotless, friendly and helpful hosts, ideal location, easy to find. Would very much recommend.
We loved The Hideaway! A great place to return after a day at the beach. Local facilities so useful- walked to the bakery every morning!
St Merryn is a hidden gem located within easy reach of the stunning coast of North Cornwall, with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, helpful local convenience stores and delis, and a wide variety of places to eat. Sometimes overlooked, due to the proximity of the larger town of Padstow just ten minutes' drive away, St Merryn is nevertheless a great holiday setting in its own right, its convenient location and many amenities attracting visitors back year after year. Known as the 'Seven Bays' area due to the number of beaches along this part of the coastline, you know you are approaching the village when you see the 'Seven Bays for Seven Days' signs on the road heading in. If it's a walking holiday you are looking for, St Merryn is an excellent choice, being near to beaches, cliffs and fields, where lovely views entice you from your holiday home and into the great outdoors. And of course, if you have a four legged family member, they will love it too! There is also a riding stables nearby if you've always wanted to explore the area on horseback (a wonderful way to see the stunning local scenery).
