Reviews

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage which was just how it was described, was everything we needed, good pubs and food, very close to the beach and beautiful walks in our opinion it was excellent.

mrs Rose B,

A lovely house in a great location, close to an excellent beach and lovely to have the view over the harbour too. The property was really well equipped, particularly the kitchen. Spacious lounge with good wifi and there was a selection of DVDs which was really nice to have. The beds were really comfortable, the house was spotlessly clean and there was plenty of space for us all. Lovely to have both the terrace at the front to sit out overlooking the harbour, and the conservatory at the back which was a lovely sun trap, plus the garden with outside seating too.

Mrs Jeni R,

Very comfortable property, clean & well equipped. Location in Portreath fantastic for all amenities. Local beach beautiful, ideal location for exploring Southern Cornwall.

Mr David B,

Its location and proximity to the beach, pubs and local shops, and the added benefit of a conservatory is we think is well worth the 350 miles we travelled to get there. The information on the location and details of this property is very accurately described on their website so other customers can book properties through Cornish Horizons with confidence that the details will be as described therein and being Cornwall based means they have offices close by for contact.

Mr K K,

Map

Portreath is a small village centred on the harbour and large beach with all the local amenities you could wish for nearby including a local supermarket, surf/beach shops, Post Office, bakery, tearoom and several pubs serving fantastic local cuisine.

The pretty, sandy beach here is popular with families and surfers alike, as like many of the beaches on the west Cornish coast, this beach offers good surfing conditions. Portreath also featured in the Marine Conservation Society Good Beach Guide Recommended 2014 for its excellent water quality. Please note dogs are welcome on this beach expect between Easter- October each year.
