The location of the property close to Polzeath beach was perfect!

Ms Vivien C,

Mention Polzeath, and one of the first things you think of is likely to be surfing.  This is yet another stretch of coastline that is irresistible to those who like to spend much of their time riding the waves.  Yet Polzeath has plenty more of interest to offer, including craft and gift shops, cafes, a pub offering good food and live music, amazing eateries and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As with much of Cornwall's coastline, the scenery here is spectacular, and there are plenty of coastal walks to be found, including a lovely route to nearby Daymer Bay. If surfing is not your thing, there is New Polzeath beach (just to the right of the main beach) which is ideal for swimmers, or of course if you prefer to relax and take it easy, you could just sunbathe instead!  Keep your eyes open, though, as if you're lucky, you may just see a few of the dolphins or seals who are regular visitors to this stretch of water  Nearby, there is The Point, for keen golfers, and Cornish Rock Tors, who offer coasteering, sea kayaking, wild swimming and climbing for those who fancy something more adventurous. Polzeath and the nearby area is also a favourite with celebrities, and has been known to attract royal visitors too.
