A great house in a very convenient location, great for a family/group stay.
Beautiful property - we were delighted with it! Will definitely be recommending it to all our friends
For the first time we needed a house for 10 people. Heyl Sound met all our requirements in terms of comfort and accommodation. Our first booking with Cornish Horizons. No complaints, very efficient. Everyone enjoyed the property and the holiday.
We are a family of 9 in Padstow for a family wedding. Heyl Sound was a delightful property, good location, furnished with great taste, everything was there which we needed and we didn’t want to leave. The grandchildren loved it and can’t stop talking about it.
Spent the first week of Easter at Heyl Sound. There were two families and we found the property fantastic. Great Location, Plenty of room, well equipped, and terrific views. Four parking spaces was a bonus and the second lounge was great for the kids. Can’t wait to return!
We had a really wonderful stay at Heyl Sound. The house is beautiful and fully equipped for our stay with young children. The little touches were really appreciated and we had a very relaxed and enjoyable few days. Excellent location and within a short walk to the local attractions. Perfect for young children and a very manageable walk
From the moment we stepped inside the door at Heyl Sound I knew we had made the right choice. It was everything I had hoped for and more, we were staying for a family wedding so needed a large property. The whole weekend was fabulous, the restaurants excellent all within walking distance, Padstow is a very special place, especially in the winter as it was quiet but without feeling everything was shut up for the winter.
Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations- a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin. If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
