Sunshine Cottage - what a fantastic name for a holiday cottage, it conjures up an image of relaxation, days spent on sandy beaches, exploring magnificent coastline, alfresco living and happy times with family and friends - all of which is easily achievable from this lovely holiday home located about 10 minutes' walk from the heart of Padstow and 10 minutes by car to a choice of beaches. A clean, modern and comfortable cottage in a quiet area a short (10 minute) walk from Padstow. Lovely rear and front gardens with outside seating areas.
Padstow is my most favourite place - and by the amount of visitors it gets it's other people’s too! Therefore the location of Sunshine Cottage, which is just on the outskirts is ideal, and with its own parking spaces is ideal. (Walk back from town is up a hill). Very tasteful and well equipped cottage. Would definitely recommend Cornish Horizons. Cottage exceeded description.
Very good service and a lovely place to visit, beautiful beaches (many dog friendly) and lots of nice places to dine out. I would definitely recommend this company and Padstow.
This is our 4th time using Cornish Horizons and again we weren't disappointed. We will definitely be booking again!
Beautiful cosy cottage, amazingly well-equipped, clean and comfortable and doorstep access to some great walks. We had a wonderful break here, thank you!
Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations - a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin. If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
