Previous Customer,

Home from home!

Jo-Ann B,

A lovely warm welcome from Helga as usual with the personal touches that make it special

Mrs Sian A,

Helga has thought of everything. Very nice house and Helga always makes you feel very welcome.

Mr Kevin W,

A very dog friendly cottage. Helga keeps it very clean and well equipped.

Mrs Kim A,

This was a lovely, comfortable cottage with everything you could possibly need provided, and more. Helga, the host, was very welcoming and had gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome, providing tea, coffee, milk, a bottle of wine and even a lovely Easter gift. I've already recommended Helga and her cottage to several friends and would happily return.

Ms Michele P,

We have stayed in several of the properties in Sarah's View in recent years, we were very happy with Lowen Cottage as we were able to bring our dog Alfie.

Mr Simon W,

From the moment we arrived, until the time we departed Lowen Cottage has been the perfect place to call “Home”. With its great views, quiet surroundings and equipped with everything we need, Lowen Cottage is the “Mary Poppins” of rental homes – “practically perfect”. We have been made more than welcome and provided for by Helga – who just loves dogs! We will be back – soon!!

Mr David E,

Overall, great holiday experience. Easy to book and pay. We were pleased with the holiday property, and were looked after during our stay. The cottage is well situated within Padstow. We would go back again. The service we received from Cornish Horizons was efficient, professional and friendly.

Helga does a fantastic job. The house has everything you want and more. Ideal location within walking distance of Padstow and Tesco!

Mr Kevin W,

This is our second visit and Helga and her cottage. Excellent! What else is there to say. All excellent!

Mr P P,

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations- a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.  If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin.  If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
