Tucked away in a quiet, tranquil location but close to the centre of Padstow and complete with parking, this fantastic cottage style property dwells in the grounds of the old school house and fronts onto the well maintained landscaped grounds. The Owners have worked to a high specification to provide beautifully styled decor and accompanying fittings which includes original artwork, enhanced by wood and carpet flooring in the living areas and bedrooms. Both cloakroom and bathroom have benefited from the installation of quality contemporary sanitary ware, not forgetting the upgrade of the kitchen where luxury items have been provided for those who like to cook locally caught fish and home grown produce from the nearby farm shop. You will find the attention to detail speaks for itself as every need is catered for. All this on tap before you venture down to the harbour or begin to explore the surrounding areas!

A lovely week was had by all at Sands. A great little spot, making it convenient to reach Padstow and surrounding areas. The weather delivered a mixed bag, however a good time was still had by all. Thank you and best wishes.

Mr Alex L,

Enjoyed a lovely week in Padstow. ‘Sands’ very comfortable and well appointed, weather was kind too!

Mr John W,

Very well thought out house with nice touches. Padstow is always a lovely friendly place to stay. Plenty of good properties available to rent from Cornish Horizons.

Mrs Angela H,

Very satisfied with Cornish Horizons. Prompt, efficient and highly dependable. Sands in Padstow is a great property as it’s so well located ( a short walk to town for the facilities, the coastal path, the ferry to Rock and close to the Camel Trail for walking or cycling), lovely, contemporary, comfortable interior, sunny conservatory, seats at the front to catch the evening sun - and the great addition of a bike rack. Private, allocated parking space near the property- an asset in Padstow. Highly recommend this property.

Mrs June P,

Our second stay here in this very comfortable cottage. Ideally situated - and loved the new bike facility! Cycling the entire Camel Trail was the highlight this year. Easy to reach many places from here - lunch at Gurnards Head, cream tea at Bedruthan Steps, fantastic curry at the Journeyman. WONDERFUL!

Mrs June P,

Thanks to Paul and Jane. Had a great 3rd visit to Sands - still as cosy and well equipped. Great location and easy to reach other areas. Great eating places - especially Rojanos - brilliant Pizza!! Delighted to see my little painting of Sands still on front of The Tome.

Mr Anthony W,

Beautifully clean and well appointed property with an uplifting peep of the sea from the master bedroom. We were amazed at how quiet it was considering its location.

Mrs Carole W,

Sands is a comfy cosy cottage with great views of the sea. We loved nipping down to the bakery and eating hot cross buns on the beach. By Molly aged 9.

Mrs Carole W,

Great house and where better to be than Padstow?! We had a great week - many thanks.

Mr Ian F,

Our third visit, still as good as ever. Weather the best ever. This time we did a new walk to Little Petherick, very enjoyable, plenty of birds and history associated with it.

Martin and G,

We have been very comfortable in Sands. Perfect location, only got the car out once! Lots of lovely walks and good weather. Thank you for the cake.

Previous Customer,

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations - a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.  If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin.  If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
