Description

Tream Cottage is an attractive modern cottage-style property with a patio garden and estuary views from the double bedroom. This homely cottage is only 5 minutes' walk from the Camel Trail and 10 minutes' walk to Padstow harbour. Padstow is an historic working fishing port on the river Camel estuary, with a beautiful unspoilt harbour and a maze of picturesque narrow streets. Sailing and windsurfing are popular on the estuary waters so yachts will often be found tying up next to fishing boats offloading their catches into the waiting arms of the chefs from the nearby seafood restaurants.

As of January 2019, Tream Cottage is now under new ownership, complete refurbishments have taken place.

Reviews

The property was very well presented and was ideally located and provided a very good base for our holiday!

Chris C,

Our first return to Tream (Clent) Cottage since its refurbishment. The cottage was always excellent before but the refurbishment has just taken it up a notch.

Mr John C,

Excellent refurbishment!

Mr David R,

Good value for money in a good location for walking into Padstow and locality to lots of beaches.

Mrs DENISE A,

The finding of teabags, fresh milk and biscuits was a very nice touch!

Mrs Susan H,

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations- a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin. If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
