Reviews

So pleased we found the property exactly as described, nothing to disappointment at all.

Mrs Kevan W,

Ticks all the boxes for a great place to stay.

Mrs Suzanna R,

Byre cottage is a comfortable, well equipped property in a very good location for the coast and Padstow. We had scones and cream waiting for us when we arrived, which was a lovely welcome. There is plenty of parking space.

Mrs Ellen A,

Lovely and clean and great welcome with scones, tea, milk etc - very much appreciated. Loved the cottage and location.

Miss Emma W,

Beautiful cottage and very comfortable.

Ms Sharon J,

We had a very comfortable and happy holiday at Byre Cottage. Would be very happy to go back again.

Mr Chris B,

Well located. The owners made us very welcome, with homily touches in a clean, warm property.

Ms Marilyn S,

It was a great location for our holiday. Able to walk into Padstow and an easy drive to lots of beaches. It was excellent for the dog with quiet areas to walk, straight from the door.

Ms Jennifer M,

We have rented this property before, it has always been clean and comfortable. The scones, jam, cream and milk are always welcoming, also milk, tea bags and newspaper. We have always found the staff at Cornish Horizons very polite, friendly and helpful. This area of Cornwall is beautiful and there is plenty to do. Shopping is not a problem with Tintagel, Padstow and Newquay close by. We will not hesitate to book with Cornish Horizons again.

Mrs Jackie W,

All good and visited this property a number of times as the location is excellent and will do again if possible. Many thanks

Mr P K,

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations - a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.  If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin.  If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
