5 Star. We will be coming back.
The cottage is a very rare thing in Padstow: near the centre, parking and dog friendly. I have stayed in this cottage many times and would not stay anywhere else, except next door, in Harbour Cottage.
Ideal position in Padstow with a parking space which is a big bonus.
The property is in a perfect location and had all that we needed. The customer service was excellent too.
Excellent property with parking and easy access to all the facilities that Padstow has to offer. Cornish Horizons provide an excellent service from very helpful people.
I stayed in Baxter’s cottage some years ago and must say that the refurbishment since I was last there is excellent. The addition of a downstairs toilet is much appreciated and the bathroom shower is superb. We would never book a Cornish cottage with any other company!
Baxters Cottage is a beautiful cottage. Extremely clean, with everything that you could need or want. Definitely a home away from home. Perfect location, literally a 2 minute walk to the harbour front, with all its shops, pubs and eateries etc. Added benefit of the wood burner for cosy nights in. Can't wait to return, had a fabulous long weekend with family.
Property was very clean and very comfortable. Very good service from Cornish Horizons, very friendly staff and the property we stayed in the Baxters was in a great location in Padstow.
This has been our 4th stay at Baxter's cottage, we love it. Excellent location, own parking space and really of a high standard, just like home from home!
Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations - a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth. If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin. If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
