All you will want to do in this lovely apartment is look out of the window all day at the fantastic view of the estuary!  So you may not even notice that the apartment itself is beautifully presented and very attractive in its own right.  Located on the first floor of this imposing Victorian house the apartment is extremely spacious for two people and benefits from huge windows in the bedroom and reception room.  It is only a short step via a gate from the communal front garden to the harbour and the many delightful pubs and restaurants Padstow has to offer, but is also well equipped for dining at home and even entertaining. Padstow has a beautiful unspoilt harbour and a maze of picturesque narrow streets wherein will be found many interesting shops and galleries as well as tea shops, patisserie, delicatessen - not forgetting pasty shops of which there are several.  All in all, a special place to stay.

Kitchen: Gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, Tassimo coffee machine, slimline dishwasher, washer/dryer.
Lounge/Diner: Smart TV, DVD player, radio/CD player, lovely estuary views.
Bedroom: Double bed (4'6"), walk in wardrobe, chest of drawers, TV, hair dryer, wonderful estuary views. En Suite Shower Room: Thermostatic shower, basin, w.c.

GARDEN & PARKING: Communal to all apartments with patio areas front and rear, washing line and barbecue.  There are also decked areas benefiting from views of the estuary with outdoor seating for all apartments plus 1 sun lounger each. Parking for 1 car in garage (NB. Height clearance 1.75m be careful of your aerial). Bikes can be secured to rings on the wall to the rear of the garage (used at owners own risk).

Changeover Day: Friday - arrival 3:00pm - departure 10:00am.
Power and Heat: Gas and electricity included in rent; gas fired c.h./hot water.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels)

We have been visiting various places in Cornwall for the last 40 years, we have stayed in Pentyre Apartments for about the last 6 years coming 2 or 3 times a year, both during the summer and Christmas/New Year holidays. We have stayed in all of the flats except number 4. The staff at Cornish Horizons (including the cleaners and the owner) are very friendly, helpful, and try to ensure you have a good stay. The flats are always clean warm and are well appointed, they have all you need!

No 2 Pentyre, Padstow - Lovely place and so well-equipped. Great that the essentials like washing up liquid and a starter pack of milk, tea, coffee etc were provided. Flat was lovely and clean gardens beautifully maintained. However, the best bit was the stunning views of Padstow from the apartment. We will definitely stay again!

Padstow is arguably now one of the best-known of Cornwall's holiday destinations - a working harbour still retaining the character of the fishing industry while also managing to reinvent itself as a modern holiday destination. Padstow has so much to offer the discerning holiday maker, with several beaches along the Camel Estuary, where you can also have a go at a range of water sports such as sailing and windsurfing, as well as a variety of boat trips such as fishing excursions, speedboat rides, sea-life safaris and the ever popular Jubilee Queen. You can indulge your passion for food at an excellent selection of restaurants in the town, which is now the base for a number of celebrity chefs including Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth.  If you're looking for more active pursuits, you can cycle the Camel Trail, the route of the old railway line running between Padstow and Bodmin.  If walking is more your thing, there are many walking trails and routes waiting to be discovered, and if you're bringing a dog, there are plenty of dog-friendly places to explore. Gaining popularity in recent years is the Padstow Christmas Festival, now spread over four days, with cookery demonstrations, food and craft market, and entertainment.
