This stylish holiday home is set next to a pretty creek in the idyllic village of Little Petherick. Sleeping four guests, the waterside property is ideal for small families and couples looking to get away from it all. Enjoy countryside walks from the property, or head to the coast (3.5 miles) to join the South West Coast Path or explore one of the many sandy beaches in the area. At the end of the day, enjoy a spot of birdwatching from the decked area overlooking the water.

The property has a reverse-level layout and is decorated in a contemporary style, with crisp paintwork offset against vibrant pops of colour in the soft furnishings and accessories. On the ground floor, you’ll find two stylish bedrooms – a double and a twin – plus a sleek shower room. Upstairs, discover a light-filled lounge/kitchen/diner, with ample space for socialising, including a wooden dining table to seat everyone and two plump sofas arranged around the Smart TV. On a warm, summer’s day, throw open the doors to the Juliet balcony and let the fresh, country air flow in. Across a quiet lane is a sunny, decked area for dining alfresco and enjoying the relaxing views of the creek.

There are some beautiful walks in and around the village. Follow Little Petherick Creek for a relaxing waterside stroll, which connects to the traffic-free Camel Trail leading to Wadebridge and Padstow. The long-distance Saints’ Way also passes through the village. The nearby stretch of coastline is renowned for its unspoilt, sandy beaches. The family favourite of Harlyn Bay (4.5 miles) is perfect for sandcastle building and splashing in the waves, or for fabulous surfing conditions, head to Polzeath (12.5 miles). The harbour town of Padstow is 3.5 miles away and has a fantastic array of independent eateries.

Very comfortable cottage in a beautiful setting. Close to plenty of amenities and great beaches. Lots to do. Would like to go back.

This property was lovely clean and tidy with everything you need to be comfortable . Location was nice and quite with great views of creak that runs outside the property. The double room was a little small but manageable. Would recommend and if we to return the area we may even choose this property again.
