Description

Just a minute's walk from Trevose Golf Club is this comfortable and homely bungalow.  With a lovely large and secluded patio garden to the rear, selection of board games and books, this makes for an ideal family home from home.  Trevose Golf Club offers weekly and fortnightly membership and facilities include tennis courts and swimming pool as well as bar and restaurant where all are welcome.  Fine dining may also be had at the Treglos Hotel which is only a 5 minute walk.  15 minutes' walk brings you to Constantine Bay, a glorious wide sandy beach, much loved by families, surfers and dog owners; surf equipment and lessons are available locally.  A mile away is St Merryn Village which has shops, restaurants and pubs (including the Cornish Arms, now owned by Rick Stein).  Padstow is only 4 miles away and has a wide variety of shops, restaurants (more Rick Stein!), galleries and gift shops and in the river estuary will be found sailing and other water sports.

This property offers a small group discount of 35% on full weekly bookings for parties of 4 or fewer at certain times of the year which means that bedrooms 3 and 4 and main bathroom will be locked off. This discount is automatically applied and the holiday price you are quoted reflects this. If you have any questions or require full use of the property, and don't want bedrooms to be locked off, please call our friendly team on 01841 533331 or email cottages@cornishhorizons.co.uk for more information.

Reviews

Our experience of booking through Cornish Horizons has been excellent. Details of finding the property, key safe access, and all aspects were done efficiently. The property was above our expectations. It was perfect for our three families to have their own space as it was so spacious. The location was perfect, being 500 yds from a very good local store, and a mile to walk to the beach. Puffins has been one of the best holiday properties we have had in Cornwall, and recommend.

Mrs Carolyn Lewis,

Best holiday! Thank you so much. We all had a wonderful sunny time! x

The Rushtons,

This area of Constantine is a true gem. Trevose Head offers the most wonderful beaches and walks and anyone would find it difficult not to absolutely love it. Also with the attraction of Padstow and the many activities that go on there.

Mrs Felicity Marsden,

The property is now excellent with the new extension. Value for money and love the property position. This area of Constantine is a true gem.

Past Customer,

Super week in Puffins - thanks!

The Gardeners,

Map

If you're looking for a traditional family beach holiday, Constantine Bay is hard to beat. With a wide, sweeping stretch of golden sand, it is one of those places that families return to year after year (and often generation after generation). A versatile area, Constantine Bay has something that will appeal to almost everyone, whether you're looking for an active holiday including surfing and other water-sports, a social gathering at the Trevose Golf Club or Treglos Hotel, or a family- and dog-friendly holiday where you can spend all day on the beach, or walk for miles along the winding cliff paths found along this stretch of coastline.  The beach allows dogs all year round, meaning that you don't have to leave your best friend at home when you holiday here.  And, of course, the kids will love exploring the tidal rock pools and wide expanse of sand that has long made this beach one of the best-loved along this stretch of the beautiful North Cornish coast. A popular holiday destination for those 'in the know', the Bay attracts many groups of families and friends who often holiday together, turning the area into a little community within a community in the busy summer months.
