Soak up the sunshine and the astounding seascapes when you stay at this gorgeous retreat in Crackington Haven. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom cottage offers bright, modern accommodation, with spectacular views from both inside and out. Close to the South West Coast Path, it is also perfectly placed for days out to famous Tintagel, as well as to Bude and Boscastle.

Step inside this unique holiday home to discover it has a reverse-level design to maximise its enviable position. The kitchen/diner, where you can warm the fresh Cornish pasties or prepare the seafood you have bought on your trips out, is on the ground floor, together with a double bedroom, with Smart TV. The generous lounge, where there is another TV to relax in front of is up on the first floor. Here there are skylight windows that pull the fabulous views right into the room. There is also a twin bedroom and family bathroom at this level. Wander over to the patio on sunny mornings to sip your coffee and gaze out over your breath-taking surroundings. Light the BBQ out here in the evening and watch the sun set over the sea. There is parking for one car at the cottage.

Amble 400 metres down to the cove to paddle, swim and snorkel. Keen walkers might like to attempt the 7-mile hike along the South West Coast Path from Crackington Haven to Boscastle. Have a day out to historic Tintagel, 9.5 miles away, to see the striking castle that features in the tales of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Spend time on the sandy beach at Summerleaze, Bude, 11 miles away, where you can swim in the sea or dip in the tidal pool.

We've had a wonderful two weeks, helped by the unseasonable weather! Very well equipped accomodation, it had everything we needed required. Loved Crackington Haven, we spent a lot of time on the beach. Who thought we would go home with a tan. Did lots of walking & we've not got gluts of steel.

We've had a great time bodybording and even spotted a family of seals swimming nearby. Great food at The Cabin - can't wait to come back soon!

We stayed at Gunnedah Studio in the summer of 2022 and decided to return in 2023 to complete our mission. The property is well equipped and presented making a good base to return to from days out. Property details folder could do with an update as they are ambiguous and in some areas contradictory. Property was described albeit getting tired in somRead moree areas; for example the main door handle could do with being replaced as it is so worn! Overall, very pleased with the accommodation. Hide

Located in a beautiful area with access to many coastal and inland walks. Only 1 pub, currently serving food lunchtimes and 4 nights per week and 2 very good cafes all within walking distance but down a very steep hill. A small village shop about 2 miles away - nearest large supermarket is in Bude. Very well equipped, particularly in the kitRead morechen and good internet access. Use of a lovely garden and patio with views of the sea. Beds were very comfortable, lots of lovely fluffy white towels. Hide
