The Orchard is a unique spacious hideaway only 1 mile from Wadebridge town centre, in a peaceful, idyllic spot at the end of a little hamlet, but only a short drive to Padstow, Rock and gorgeous beaches. If you like nature and being outside, you'll love this architect-designed house set in an acre of established garden and woodland including two tropical gardens to relax in the sun, a lawn area for playing games, a tree-swing and a path leading down to the woodland glade and beyond to the woodland walk and stream. Or if you just want to relax, there's plenty of seating to unwind with a glass of wine in this tranquil sanctuary.
The house can provide up to 14 beds which can be arranged as twins or doubles. Every room has an airy, spacious feel and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out onto the garden. The kitchen-diner with breakfast bar and lounge with Juliette balcony offer a lovely communal area to spend time together, with the bonus of a large patio with gazebo directly outside for meals or drinks. A path from the patio leads to a 30 foot garden room where children and adults can amuse themselves in evenings playing snooker or table football or chatting around the wood-burning stove. The Orchard's furnishings are contemporary, bright and comfortable and you will find all the appliances and kitchen equipment you need, including an American-style fridge, range stove, Rayburn(not in use), two televisions, hi-fi and free wi-fi. Adults and children alike will love exploring The Orchard… as will your dog!

You couldn't fault the comfort of the beds and bedding or the quietness of the property when it is so close in proximity to the A39! Good location to local amenities and just a short drive to some wonderful coastal walks. Would highly recommend the Quarryman pub, just a short drive away and the most amazing steaks that just seemed to melt in your mouth!
Absolutely great location in a relaxing environment.
Family friendly good location lovely setting clean ideal holiday home.
First class accommodation and a beautiful area.
The former market town of Wadebridge is another often-overlooked location, but is a great base for exploring many areas of Cornwall. The Camel Trail links it with Padstow and Bodmin, and it is also close to villages such as Polzeath and Rock. Wadebridge itself is a lively town boasting many amenities including a cinema, several local pubs which offer live music and good atmospheres, and a unique mix of local shops and businesses which make it stand out from many other small towns. The town's position on the Camel Estuary also makes it a good prospect for water-sports such as water-skiing, canoeing and sailing. Another talking point is the town's recently-acquired status as one of the country's foremost 'eco-towns' -many local people are advocates of renewable energy such as wind and solar power. This is largely down to the work of the Wadebridge Renewable Energy Network, whose aim is to make the town the first in Britain to be fully powered by renewable energy. Plenty of events take place in Wadebridge and surrounding area throughout the year, including the Royal Cornwall Show, and the popular Wadebridge Folk Festival. There is also a beer festival in June, and The Big Lunch, a street party organised by the town's residents.
