Visit the pretty village of Kilkhampton which is less than 0.5 miles down the road and contains a chippy, pub, and a handy convenience store. The bustling seaside resort of Bude is 5 miles away, where you can enjoy sandy shores, rock pooling, and water sports, such as kayaking. If you are a pair of history lovers, visit the stately home of Hartland Abbey and Gardens, dating back to the 12th Century (12 miles).
