If quirkiness and dreamy sea views float your boat, then this sweet cottage in St Ives is the place to be. It’s in a prime spot right on the “Lambeth Walk” section of the seafront, offering you a front-row seat to panoramic harbour views and crystal-clear waters. With the immaculate white-sand Porthminster beach, shops, restaurants and pubs just 100 metres away, it’d be hard to find a better location. The property sleeps up to four over its two bedrooms, so is great for a family or two couples holidaying together.

Step inside to a well-equipped kitchen for preparing family feasts and picnic for tomorrow’s exploration. You’ll ascend a few steps to reach a living room with fantastic sea views towards Hayle, Gwithian and the Godrevy Lighthouse – and some binoculars so you can enjoy the vistas to the full. You’ll find plenty to entertain you, with Smart TV, books and board games provided. The upper floor houses a king-sized bedroom with vaulted ceilings and exposed stonework, while the cosy twin bedroom is accessible via some steps down from the kitchen area.

There’s so much to do nearby, whether that’s indulging in some Cornish ice cream or a cream tea or wandering around St Ives’ quirky shops, museums and galleries (all within 0.5 miles). A leisurely 0.5-mile stroll will take you to the renowned Porthmeor surfing beach and the famous Tate St Ives gallery. If you’re keen for a longer walk, join the South West Coast Path 0.5 miles away and make your way to local beauty spots like Clodgy Point (1 mile) and Porthzennor Cove (6 miles) and Gurnard's Head (6.5 miles).

The location of this cottage is perfect for visiting bustling StIves. We loved sitting in the window and looking out across the water. The ease of accessing the views and local walks / shops was a real plus. The cottage was cosy and easy to keep warm with smart TV and plenty of games to keep the kids entertained. Wi-Fi was also good. Good Read morekitchen space with fridge, freezer and washer drier. Lots of places to eat or take away as well. Its located near a church and road thats used infrequently but is right outside the door causing some noise but didnt bother us. We parked at the train station for the week for 15 but spaces were limited. Hide

Fabulous location, brilliant view out of living room windows . Too many steps for young children or elderly. Twin bedroom has tiled steps down from kitchen. Main bedroom is up a painted wooden staircase so quite a distance apart if you have young children . No dishwasher but has washing machine.
