This gorgeous ground floor apartment is in a gated development on Carlyon Bay close to stunning walks on the South West Coast Path and a hotel with a luxury spa, 18-hole golf course, and excellent restaurant. It’s step-free and perfect for friends or family, with one king-size bedroom and a twin. The beach is just over 300 metres from the door and the nearest pub only 25 metres away.

The flat is in a quiet spot and has super stylish interiors and funky furniture throughout. There’s plenty of space to curl up on the large corner sofa in the lovely, light living/dining area, with a Smart TV, dining area for four, and a door out to the patio and communal garden. If you want to cook while you’re away, the kitchen has everything you’ll need, and a Nespresso coffee machine for your morning cuppa. There’s a spacious king-size bedroom with a handy door outside, a lovely twin room (both bedrooms have good clothes storage) and a bathroom with a bath and shower. Enjoy the communal gardens, which reach round two sides of the property, plus there’s a small private patio with two outdoor chairs right next to the apartment for coffees and sundowners.

Carlyon Bay is home to three sandy beaches (Crinnis, Shorthorn and Polgaver) near St Austell on part of the coast known as the ‘Cornish Riviera’. As well as sunning yourself on the beaches, there’s lots to do nearby. The Lost Gardens of Heligan (8.5 miles away) and the Eden Project (3 miles) are both well worth a visit, as is the historic port of Charlestown (1.5 miles). It’s the filming location of many TV dramas, including Poldark, and has a range of good pubs, independent shops, and restaurants.

It was spotless upon arrival, and the generous living space made our stay incredibly comfortable. There's something special about coming back to a clean and inviting space after a day of exploring. During our stay, we also took the opportunity to visit Looe and Mevagissey, both of which boast lovely harbours. These towns offered a delightful mix of shops, boutiques, and fantastic dining options. It was a pleasure to explore these picturesque spots, and they're conveniently located within a reasonable drive from the apartment. In summary, I can't recommend this apartment enough. Whether you're looking for a seaside getaway, historical exploration, or simply a comfortable and clean place to stay, this apartment near Carlyon Bay has it all. Loved flat especially location ( so near the coast and the beautiful views of St Austell Bay; also there was a bus stop within about two hundred yards which was important as for first time we were visiting Cornwall without a car). Garden was unsafe for children as it wasnt shown that the garden was actually grass at the side of a live car park. It took numerous calls, e-mails etc to get anyone with any seniority to do anything. I contacted you on the Sunday about changing accommodation (which would have meant you could rebook the place at the end of the week), but it took unRead moretil Wednesday night to have confirmation of a refund. Rather than enjoying my holiday I spent the first half of the week very angry at your company. There should be access to management immediately when requested - it is unacceptable for to the more junior members of the team to have to deal with angry customers like me with no one they can pass it on to that can enact any action.
