Get straight into the Cornish way of life when you step through the door to this gorgeous country cottage. Two humans and two contented canines are invited to stay at this tastefully decorated romantic getaway, where long beach walks make for a peaceful escape to Cornwall’s stunning coast.

Climb the steps from the street and be welcomed by a charming lounge with traditional exposed beams. Curl up in front of the wood burner after a day of exploring the Cornish coast, or chat into the night with a drink in your hand. Take the steps into the open-plan kitchen/diner where there’s every modern convenience at your fingertips. Cook up a delightful dish for two and recharge your batteries at the country-style dining suite. A suntrap garden at the rear of the cottage provides a lovely backdrop for evening drinks and stargazing, while upstairs, a king-size bed and soothing colour scheme present a restful night’s sleep. A stylish bathroom with a shower over the bath completes this property.

Once a thriving fishing port, Egloshayle is a beautiful little village with rows of peaceful lanes lined with whitewashed cottages, a centuries-old church and a local pub. Spend time soaking up the culture of Pencarrow House, a magnificent Georgian property with stunning Grade II-listed gardens and Cornish cream teas on offer! Discover dramatic clifftops, hidden coves, magical waters and picturesque fishing villages. Following our recent stay at Radford Cottage please find comments and concerns relating to our stay. The general maintenance of the building was poor with significant areas of danger which was extremely disappointing. I am an interior designer and often work in this field, my partner is a project manager for a safety lighting company so we coRead moreme from areas of expertise. - Cobwebs which had been there for some time is not a good first impression. - Badly stained furniture adds to the lack of maintenance required to keep the property to a suitable standard. - Stained cooking pans is not appealing, I would not use these at home and dont expect to pay for the use. - The electricity cut out when we used the toaster, the fuse board is a serious hazard in a dangerous condition with a broken front cover which left live cables accessible - I doubt a qualified electrician would certify its use within a rental property. It became apparent that the toaster was not the issue and a full safety check is required to establish ongoing safety. - whilst we appreciate that we are coming out of the winter the patio/decking area was slippy and had not been maintained or cleaned for some time - The thermostatic control on the bath was not working, impossible to add cold water so therefore a high scalding risk - No thermostatic control on the towel rail radiator is also a scalding risk - the property was cold with two logs in the log basket, we did find some in an outside store but it is never inviting to arrive too.the woodburner was ineffective and needs replacing, if the radiators had been turned on to a timed setting it would have been a more inviting warm snug - The wall mounted electric heaters could have been turned on to low prior to arrival to warm the property which felt damp and cold - It is not an issue for us having steep steps but they do need to be maintained so that moss does not make them slippy which does make them dangerous - The exterior handle is loose making getting into the front door difficult - it needs to be repaired We were disappointed when we arrived. Having somebody arrive to clean prior to our departure at 10am intrusive and disruptive as we prepared to load our car with two dogs I look forward to your prompt response Hide

Beautiful dog friendly cottage situated in a small lane. Everything was perfect. The log burner was an added bonus for the evenings. Great food at the pub down the road. Would definitely recommend.

A real gem. Lots of lovely touches, from the comforting throws and toiletries to the scones and milk on arrival. The cottage was very comfortable and well located for exploring the area. Would definitely stay there again.
