For a day on the beach, head to Marazion Beach (2.5 miles) and swim in the sea, or try your hand at sailing and kayaking. St Michael’s Mount, a medieval castle set in the sea, is also worth a visit. History lovers can also explore Chysauster Ancient Village, a Roman settlement set on a hillside 3 miles away.
