Within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this home sleeps four guests, welcomes one dog and is within 1 mile of pubs, shops and takeaways. Explore walking trails or visit one of the towns and historic hotspots in Cornwall from this base.

Head inside this stylish home into the bright, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Socialise together while cooking, play games or simply have a popcorn and movie night after a busy day exploring. Fire up the electric fireplace to keep you warm on cold nights. Upstairs, you will find one king-size bedroom and one twin bedroom as well as a family bathroom. Outside, you will have access to a shared lawn and patio. Take a seat at the picnic table and dine alfresco as the sun sets.

Located in Kilkhampton, a pretty village with two pubs and a few shops, you will be near everything you need. 5 miles away is the wonderful seaside town of Bude. Here you will find painted beach huts, sandy beaches, and activities including crazy golf, paddleboarding and swimming in Bude Sea Pool. If you love to walk, take a stroll along the South West Coast Path that passes through Bude and cups the rugged coast through Devon and Cornwall. The area boasts lots of lovely towns and villages including historic Tintagel (23 miles), picturesque Boscastle (18 miles) and pretty Westward Ho! (20.5 miles). For a fabulous family day out visit adventure farm park, The BIG Sheep in Devon (18 miles) or the Giant Slip and Slide Cornwall (29 miles).

Had a nice stay beds comfortable bedding very clean. Welcome pack was a nice thought owner rang to check all OK was very nice and gave us some tips.

Lovely cottage. Great location far enough away from busy Bude but close enough to be part of the action, to access the various beaches and sites. Hosts were fantastic- friendly, nice touches at the cottage such as flowers, milk, eggs and cider on arrival.

A lovely little house in a great location for everything we wanted to do. The owners were really helpful and left us essential food for when we arrived. It is next to the holiday park which means you are a stones throw away from a pub/restaurant and swimming pool, which is great. We were a family of 4 with two kids and whilst the house is small, itRead more was fine for us especially as there is so much to do nearby. Hide

Fabulous place and very clean. Lovely place and not far from the shop and pubs. Dogs friendly too and not far to drive to the local beach etc. Definitely be back again in the future.

Lovely apartment which although compact doesnt feel small as it is so well laid out. Everything is well cared for and comfortable. Lovely location not far from Sandymouth Beach and Bude. Walking distance to Spar shop and small COOP. Well looked after by our hosts. Would definitely book again

We had an amazing holiday and the hosts were very helpful and accommodating and even provided us with free fresh eggs from their chickens! The cottage was immaculately clean and comfortable and provided a good base to explore North Cornwall from. There is a venue near by which had a kids disco and arcades which the children loved and there was a clRead moreean swimming pool nearby too. The village had a great pizza place to eat in and a nice pub for Sunday Roast. We would definitely love to visit again. Hide

We had a wonderful stay. The house was compact but was very clean and well equipped. It is set in a great location and we were welcomed with fresh eggs and apple juice. Mrs Strong was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would strongly recommend a stay.

Excellent location. Cosy and spotlessly clean. Had all the basic necessities, iron, hoover, hairdryer, kitchen utensils, shampoo, shower gel etc. Sally left a delicious bottle of apple juice with some eggs and biscuits, when we arrived. They came to see us on our first day and gave us some advise on places to go and recommended a lovely place for cRead moreream tea. Parking space available and Leisure center is a few minutes walk down. Would definitely recommend! Hide
