Embrace peaceful country living with both your two-legged and four-legged friends at this beautiful property set in traditional Cornish farmland. Close to the stunning scenery of Bodmin Moor (15 miles), the historic town of Liskeard (6 miles) and some of the UK's most idyllic fishing harbours, you can dart from crabbing and long walks, to picnics and lazy lunches enjoying some of the freshest fish caught right on your doorstep.
All throughout the property, there is a light and spacious feel highlighted by the beautiful open-plan kitchen/lounge/dining area. Prepare hearty feasts after a day of exploring in the well-equipped, contemporary kitchen and snuggle down in front of the woodburner-effect fire with a great book or heart-warming film. Leading off the living space are two delightfully furnished bedrooms, one king-size and one twin zip-and-link, which share a pleasing en-suite Jack and Jill bathroom with shower over bath and WC. The outdoor space is perfect for your canine companions, with a completely enclosed garden and a 2.5-acre dog walking field with direct access to some great footpaths. Warmer evenings can be spent enjoying the lovely BBQ area with garden furniture, before heading up the steps to an enclosed private lawn with far-reaching views across the tranquil countryside.
The nearby villages of Minions (7 miles) and Pensilva (2 miles) have all the basic amenities you should need, with small shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. For those who are fans of horse riding, head to Caradon Hill and Trekking Centre (2 miles) and hack over the beautiful Bodmin Moor or discover the old mines of Caradon Hill. The nearest town of Liskeard, just under 6 miles away, is steeped in history all around, right down to the shops which still retain their original Edwardian facades. If it's sea air you're after, then the beautiful fishing villages of Looe (15 miles) and Polperro (19 miles) are a must-visit with beautiful beaches and gorgeous restaurants. Looe is a particularly family-friendly destination – book an afternoon at Rockpool Rambles, an activity run by the Looe Marine Conservation Group, where children can discover all about rock pooling, crabbing and fishing.
