Treworgey Manor, an ancient 110-acre estate 3 miles north of Liskeard, is the rural setting for this delightfully-finished property. One of four barn conversions here, it's surrounded by pasture, streams and woodland so there's plenty of wildlife to see. Fantastic leisure facilities, shared with the other cottage properties, will keep everyone happy: tennis court, games room, and outdoor heated swimming pool. You're well placed for day trips: days on the beach, hiking over wild and free Bodmin Moor or visiting charming coastal villages.

Relax and settle into a slower pace of life in this secluded retreat. Outside, the rough texture of traditional stone walls welcomes you. Once inside, you'll notice the solid structure with timber beams and lintels. The colour palette is muted and comfortingly old-fashioned. Furnishings are fine and comfortable, fabrics are in vintage British patterns, and there are solid wood floors upstairs. In the private garden, kids can run free on the lawn while grown-ups enjoy a BBQ on the patio beside the house. Due to the current situation the games room will not be available. Tennis racquets and balls will be available for use on the tennis courts but guests are asked to bring their own where possible.

Looe is a pretty harbour village with beach, pubs, fine dining and shops stocking great local produce and fresh fish - or for a beach day in a secluded cove, why not take a picnic to Lansallos Beach? Both are 15 miles away. Bodmin Moor has excellent walking and guided horse trekking: Brown Willy, Cornwall's highest peak, is 13 miles away. For fans of novelist Daphne du Maurier, a visit to the famous and romantic Jamaica Inn at Bolventor 8 miles away is a must.

A truly well equipped cottage situated in tye grounds of a rural manor. The owners greeted us on arrval and made us very welcome, including providing a Cornish Cream Tea . In addition to extensive grounds the centre also includes a tennis court and outdoor swimming pool We have no hesitation in highly recommending this location

Paddock View is a very comfortable cottage offering a completely relaxing get-a-way. Signposting to the property could be improved, but once found this is a wonderful place to stay and explore Cornwall.
